You pay a set fee to rent all of the DVD movies you want in a month. That is your total cost for the rentals. Shipping both ways is included.
Depending on the plan you select, you are allowed to have 1-4 movies out at a time. Movies are mailed to you from a list you maintain online. Keep the movies as long as you want. The next movie on your rental list is mailed to you when you return a movie.

Being close to your rental company makes exchanging your rented DVDs for the next one much faster.
